This policy explains what happens to the details you give us. In short: we use them to quote for your job, to carry it out and to look after you afterwards. We do not sell them, and we do not track you around the internet.

Through this website, the Get a quote planner is the only thing that collects anything. If you complete it, we receive your name, email address, telephone number and postcode, the answers you gave about the job, and anything you type in the notes box.
If you become a customer, we also hold the details needed to carry out and support the work: your address, the system installed, and our record of the quotation, invoice and any service visits.
If you complete our customer feedback survey after an installation, we receive your answers and, if you give it, your name.
If you simply read the site, we do not collect anything about you. There is no analytics, no advertising code and no tracking pixels on any page.
To reply to you, arrange a free survey, prepare a written quotation, carry out the work, and support the system afterwards. In data protection terms that is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business and keeping proper records.
After an installation we send an aftercare pack, and then one reminder a year to let you know an annual service may be due. That is our legitimate interest in looking after a system we fitted. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else for marketing.
The website keeps the two hundred most recent quote requests and deletes older ones automatically. Quotations, invoices and installation records are kept for up to six years, which is the period we may need them for accounting and for any question about work we have carried out. Feedback survey answers are kept while they are useful and then deleted.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. A cookie is only set if someone logs in to the website’s administration area, or uses a private preview link while the site is being built. Nothing you do as an ordinary visitor is tracked.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@prestigecoolingsolutions.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
